Pair of cottages. Dated 1900. Limestone ashlar, hipped stone
slate roof with axial stone stack. Two-storey, 5-window. Five
chamfered cross windows to ground floor, plat band over to first
floor; four cross windows, side-bays below catslide roof sloping
over returns, eaves on wrought iron brackets. One hipped attic
dormer with two 2-light casements. Right return has C20 casements,
lean-to porch to No 64. Left return has entrance to No 63. Rear
has 2-light chamfered mullioned casements. Interior not inspected.
Included as a carefully proportioned example of an estate cottage
in late C17 vernacular style.
