churchyard between 8 and 12 metres
north of Church of St James
GV II
Two chest tombs and one pedestal tomb. Late C18. Limestone.
South tomb has two oval fielded panels, fielded pilasters and
cyma-moulded flat top. North west tomb has large egg and dart
moulded oval panel with cherubs in spandrels, carved drapery and
quarter balusters to fluted frieze and moulded weathered top.
Pedestal tomb to north east has fluted chamfered corners, fielded
panels, fluted frieze and gadrooned curved top. All with illegible
inscriptions.
