Lodge at entrance to The Manor House (q.v.). Early C19. Limestone ashlar, hipped Welsh slate roof with axial terracotta stack with rosette decoration. Single-storey. Polygonal front with verandah carried on octagonal wooden posts, pointed door with Y glazing bars facing driveway, two flanking pointed windows with Y glazing bars. Rear of cottage projects to edge of front verandah roof with pointed windows to returns. C20 lean-to extension to rear. Typical example of the early C19 lodge.
