Cloth mill now three houses in row. Mid C18. Rubblestone, half
hipped stone slate roof, ashlar stack with moulded capping. At
right angles to street. 3 storeys, 3 windows. 2 doors with
chamfered cases to ground floor, of Nos 30 and 32; entrance to 28
is to rear. Ground floor windows are C19 and C20 casements and
sashes in stone cases. First floor has three 3-light cyma-
mullioned windows; one to left has one blocked light. Second floor
is half in roof below three gables; three 2-light cyma-mullioned
windows with sashes. Right return is gable-end on to street with
2-light cyma-mullioned window to each of three floors; upper window
is insertion into larger opening, probably associated with use of
building as mill. To rear is C20 extension to No 28a and blocked
mullioned windows. Group value with No 34 (q.v.), part of the same
industrial complex.
