Detached shop and house. Early C19. Ashlar, Welsh slate hipped
roof, ashlar stacks. 3 storeys, 3-window. C20 plate glass windows
in original openings with pilasters flanking central opening and
cornice over plain frieze. First floor has three 12-pane sashes
with pilasters between and to sides. Second floor has plat band
and three 12-pane sashes with pilasters carried up to plain frieze;
cornice and blocking course above. Returns have no windows but
plat bands at first and second floor levels. This is the best
building of a group of three detached shops, the others are Nos 12
and 16 (q.v.) .
