House. Circa C16 to mid C18. Squared rubblestone, stone slate
roof, hipped to right. Two parts: C18 block of 2-storeys and
attic, 2-windows, with earlier single storey range to left having 2
windows and attic dormers. Entrance door is to left of C18 block;
6-panelled door in cyma moulded architrave with flat stone hood on
scroll brackets with acanthus leaf enrichment. To right is 3-light
wooden casement. First floor has one 2-light and one 3-light cyma
mullioned windows. Moulded eaves cornice with panelled blocking
course. C20 hipped dormer to roof. Right return continues with
four 2-light cyma mullioned windows and same blocking course above
eaves cornice, inserted door to ground floor has margin lights.
Range to left has two 3-light cyma mullioned windows with one
blocked 5-light beaded mullioned window in between. Low pitched
roof has two 5-light wooden casements to hipped dormers.
Interior: Room to right of door has fielded panelling of early
C18. Room to left of door has deep chamfered beams with stops and
large stone Tudor fireplace with roll moulding. Single storey
range to left contains two cruck trusses, former open hall.
