Including No 5 Cherry Gardens (Dursley House). Mid C18 and later. 2 storeys.
Red brick over stone ground floor (to north and 1/2 hipped double roman tile roof.
Central brick stack. 4 glazing bar sashes to 1st floor with stone lintels and
cills; 2 late glazed sashes with slab surrounds on ground floor. Central projecting
later gabled porch. Small attic dormer right of centre. 3 light attic gable end
lights to east and west. Possibly older, lower 2 storey extension to rear with
moulded stone eaves cornice returned and stepped below coped gable. 2 light windows
to right. Moulded doorcase right of centre with modern door. 4 light stone mullion
window with modern casements to left. Leanto on west side with "flying" chimney
stack to south west corner of main house. Home of James Bodman, apparently a small
time clothier and author of "History of Trowbridge" (1814).
