Lodges and gate piers to south drive to Heywood House (q.v.).
Early C19. Stucco, tiled roofs with coped verges and rendered
stacks with moulded cappings. Single storey. Identical lodges
have single-storey classical porches with round-arched openings and
arched side windows, blocking course to flat roofs; No 1 retains
4-panelled door, No 2 has C20 door, moulded string course to
blocking course of main roof. East gable ends have round-arched
sashes. West gable-ends are canted with round-arched sashes.
Rear single-storey wings with casements and planked doors.
Painted ashlar gate piers linked to lodges by cast-iron railings
and gates with pilaster on lodge walls, urn finials on piers and
half-urns on pilasters.
