Listed Buildings in Llanaelhaearn, Gwynedd

  1. II Cefn-y-buarddau, with front yard walls
    Cefn-buarddau is reached by a farm track immediately N of the northern access road to Trefor. The house stands behind the new farmhouse, facing NW to the sea.
  2. II* Church of St Aelhaearn Photos
    The church stands in the centre of a large irregular churchyard at the centre of the village, bounded by the road on the S and W.
  3. II Church of St George
    The parish church of Trefor stands alongside the S road into the village off the A499 Caernarfon to Pwllheli road.
  4. II Cowhouse at Ysgubor-fawr
    Ysgubor-fawr lies at the E extermity of the community, reached from the road running N-S east of Bwlch Mawr. The cowhouse lies parallel to and behind the farmhouse, separated by the stock yard.
  5. II Elernion
    The house stands SW of the minor road leading from the A499 into Trefor, at about 600m from the centre of the village.
  6. II Gwydir-mawr
    The house stands to the W of the village on a bend of the road to the harbour.
  7. II Lleiniau-hirion
    The house stands apart from the village to the S, and is reached from a farm road running past the former school on the road to the SW.
  8. II Llwyn-yr-aethnen
    The house stands at the N end of Trefor, aligned on the more northerly of the two roads reaching the village off the A449, Caernarfon to Pwllheli Road.
  9. II Maes-y-neuadd addoldy annibynwyr Photos
    The chapel stands near the centre of the village, with the gable facing the road behind a small railed garden.
  10. II Morfa
    The house stands to the N and apart from the village, and is reached by a footway from the village, and now by a road through the former quarry depot.
  11. II Pig Sty at Lleiniau-hirion
    Lleiniau-hirion lies up a small valleyto the S of the village. The pig sty lies close to the rear left corner of the house.
  12. II Piggery at Morfa
    Morfa farm lies to the NW of Trefor, on a trackway to the sea. The piggery is set parallel to, and to the SW of the farmhouse.
  13. II Store and Mill at Ysgubor-fawr
    Ysgubor-fawr lies at the E extermity of the community, reached from the road running N-S east of Bwlch Mawr. The small mill building forms the NW closing end of the yard in front of the house.
  14. II Telephone Call-box
    The call box stands at the junction of the village street with the main Caernarfon to Pwllheli road (A499).
  15. II Ysgubor-fawr old farmhouse, with front garden walls
    Ysgubor-fawr lies at the E extremity of the community, reached from the road running N-S east of Bwlch Mawr. The old house lies in a separate enclosure to the NW of the new house.
