History

Late C18 or early C19 terraced house, part of row of six two-bay houses Nos 77-87 marked on 1888 O.S. as Albion Terrace. At one time this house was No 45, occupied by Charles E. L. Powis in 1926 In 1974 it had a modern full-width shop front across ground floor and plate glass sashes to first floor, since removed.

Exterior

Terraced house, painted stucco with slate close-eaved roof and left end brick stack. Three storeys, two-window range, offset to left. Two renewed 9-pane sashes to top floor, two renewed 12-pane sashes to first floor and modern tripartite 4-12-4-pane sash to ground floor left. Arched doorway to right under C20 steep open pediment. C20 6-panel door with C20 radiating-bar fanlight.
