Culvert carrying the Brynich stream under the Brecon to Abergavenny Canal. the canal was authorised in 1793, this section built under Thomas Dadford Jr engineer in 1800.
Stone-lined culvert under canal with segmental arch at S end with cut stone voussoirs and low retaining wall above of squared stone. Splayed stone retaining walls each side.
Included for its special historic interest as a well-built canal culvert of late C18 date.
