Constructional detail varies, with north elevation, and the western section of the south elevation (part of which has collapsed) being heavy boulder masonry with small packing stones suggesting dry stone wall construction originally. Most of south elevation is roughly squared-up and mortared stonework. Coped gables and corrugated tin sheet roof. Opposed double doors with, in north elevation only, loft openings beneath eaves offset to either side. Small doorway to right.
Remains of stone flagged threshing floor between the doorways. 5-bays (though one truss may have been lost), with A-frame trusses with slightly curved principals; those flanking the doorways are collar trusses with heavy ties; tie-beams sawn off on outer trusses and evidence of raised roof height.
Listed notwithstanding poor condition as a fine large-scale threshing barn with good traditional character which is part of a group with the other buildings at Egryn.
