C18 stone and timber lychgate to Church of Saint Matthew.
Lychgate, two rubble stone side walls with inner benches carrying gabled stone tiled roof with weatherboards in front and rear gables. Within two roughly shaped wall-posts support a queen-strut truss in centre of two-bay roof. Similar truss to E. Plain wooden gates.
Included as a plain C18 lychgate, of group value with Church of Saint Matthew.
