Probably mid C19 farmhouse, not marked on the Tithe Map of the parish, 1842, but probably built shortly afterwards on part of the Glyn Demense, owned by William Ormesby Gore Esq.
Two storey, 3-window farmhouse with single storey agricultural range in-line at L (S) end and single pitched roofed addition at N. Built of mortared rubble masonry incorporating large stones in the build and as quoins and lintels. Slate roof with stone coping at S gable of house; narrow rectangular rendered gable stacks with dripstones and capping.
The house has good Georgian vernacular character. Slightly offset facade, with boarded door under a shallow overlight with glazing bars, the windows are 16-pane hornless sashes with slate sills. The agricultural wing has the doorway offset to the R (N), with a single window to R and 3 windows to left; windows are 8-pane casements over shutter ventilators. The single pitched roof addition at the N gable has 2 wide boarded doors in the N wall.
The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
Listed as a farm range of good C19 traditional character, in which the simple Georgian vernacular of the dwelling contrasts with the simpler character of the attached farm-building .
