Built probably in the mid C19 and stands in the home paddock of Gileston Manor (qv).
Built of whitewashed local lias limestone rubble with a Welsh slate roof. Long rectangular building with single pitch roof, divided into four pens each with its doorway and small yard surrounded by walls about 1.5m in height.
Interiors are plain but unchanged.
Included for its special interest as part of a fine estate group at Gileston Manor.
