Telephone box of the standard type designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott for the Post Office in 1936.
Telephone kiosk, painted cast-iron with shallow Soaneian domed roof with lunettes with embossed George VI crowns over glazed lettered panels marked 'Telephone'. Glazed sides and timber door with matching glazed panel, all with marginal glazing bars to long horizontal panes.
