Small cruck-framed hall probably of C16 date, containing 2 full crucks, exceptionally rare in county.
Cottage, painted render with slate close-eaved roof and brick right end stack. Four-pane sash window to left, plate glass C20 window replacing door to right.
Single room of original has 2 full crucks of rough timbers joined by high collar.
Included despite exterior alterations as an exceptional survival - virtually intacy internally - of a cruck framed house; one of only three recorded by Peter Smith in the county.
