Railway bridge over old main road. Built c1850 for the South Wales Railway, probably to designs of I.K. Brunel.
Railway bridge, coursed squared rubble stone with broad elliptical arch. Cut tooled sandstone voussoirs, raised stone string course with coved lower moulding under parapet with cut stone copings.
Included as a handsome mid C19 stone bridge probably designed by Brunel, the renowned engineer.
