History

Shown on the Llandrillo tithe map of 1843, and perhaps contemporary with the hotel.

Exterior

Lofted range of whitewashed rubble stone under a slate roof. Cart-shed bay to R under large timber lintel, containing planked double doors. Stable doorway to L of centre with split doors; small window to its R containing small-pane glazing and timber struts. To the L is a planked door, perhaps originally leading to a tack room. Hay loft hatch above stable doorway. The S gable end has a 1st floor doorway containing a planked door reached by stone steps, with a 4-pane window to its L. Adjoining the N gable end is a lower converted range.
