By J W Davies, sculptor of Llanfynydd (inscribed on memorial). Probably post 1945 and set within the enclosure of a 1914-18 war memorial.
Obelisk memorial of polished red granite on a rock-faced stepped plinth. The base has raised fields, of which the front has a memorial inscription in gold letters. The memorial is set in a semi-circular enclosure, defined by a rubble-stone dwarf wall with rock-faced and freestone square terminal piers, and iron chains across the front on cast iron pedestals by William Isaac & Son of Carmarthen.
Listed for its social-historical interest and for its contribution to the historic character of the village centre.
