One of a series of bridges erected over side streams for the 17-km Lake Vyrnwy perimeter road, c.1890.
A bridge of high segmental form with a span of about 6 m, in rock-faced masonry. Rock-faced voussoirs with an enlarged keystone. The parapets are low and have a string course at base and a coping, both in rock-faced masonry with chisel drafted margins. Four small piers with rounded copings terminate the parapets. Rounded wing walls.
Carriageway about 5 m wide.
One of a set of bridges, in various monumental styles and evidently designed by different hands, related to the exploitation of the Reservoir perimeter road for its touristic potential, and closely related to the management of the Reservoir estate.
