A vernacular bridge marked on the 1838 map.
A minor single-arch bridge of about 12 m span, of more than usually informal character; it is in
quasi-rubble masonry throughout, with rough voussoirs and uncoursed common masonry. The bridge is of
somewhat humped form, and built from a bluff of rock each side well above the stream level, at formerly
fordable shallows.
The carriageway is about 3 m wide between low parapet walls topped with rough crenellations.
A much-repaired local vernacular bridge probably of late date but contrasting with the more regular
County bridges of the early C19.
