Mid C19 corner house of industrial workers terraced housing. Originally many terraces in the Dowlais and Penydarren areas ended in a curved corner house, this is the least altered survivor.
Corner house, unpainted roughcast with slate curved close-eaved roof. Two-storeys with one-window range and door to Lower Row, one-window range on corner. The upper windows are boarded over, the lower ones have C20 12-pane glazing. Windows and C20 half-glazed door have plain raised surrounds. Thick stone sills to ground floor windows, thinner above.
Not inspected.
Included for its special interest as the best surviving example of the curved corner-houses of the industrial workers' terraces in Dowlais.
