Flat stone of uncertain date, about 2.2 m long, set at the village centre certainly since the C17. Used as a preaching platform by itinerant preachers in the C17 and C18, including Vavasor Powell and Richard Davies.
Large broken stone of roughly rectangular shape set horizontally on top of stone pedestal of tooled squared blue-grey stones, part of the enclosure behind the War Memorial of 1924. Pedestal with iron plaque ' Y Garreg Fawr. This ancient structure belongs to the Powells of Nanteos as Lords of the Manor of Llanbadarn Fawr.'
