Probably C17, partly built off a pre-existing farmyard wall.
The building is of timber framing or brickwork above a ground storey of stone, and ranges east/west. The ground storey consists of rubble integral with that of the farmyard wall which connects it to the south west corner of the house. Slate roof. Ruined lean-to stone building at west gable; latrine at south-east corner.
The east elevation (to the farmhouse) has a timber-framed gable with tie and collar beams and V-struts. The loft storey is weatherboarded; boarded door at left above a flight of stone steps; stone latrine at left with tiny window and lean-to slate roof and small arched window. The ground storey to the right of the latrine is open.
The south elevation (to the garden) has an upper storey of brickwork incorporating five rows of pigeon-holes with projecting brick alighting ledges. Rubble stonework below. Small modern brick opening has been formed at left.
The north elevation (to the farmyard) has a timber framed upper storey, brick nogged, with four side-hung hatch shutters. Rubble stonework below.
Roof of two bays with strutted tie beam and V-struts above. Loft floor of four bays.
The latrine is a two-seat earth closet.
A good farm outbuilding with latrine and a wall with pigeonholes, linked by an early wall to Dolobran Hall, and listed also for group value with Dolobran Hall.
