History

Dated 1838 and built by T.H. Jones of Neuadd Fawr. The bridge is shown on the 1844 Tithe map.

Exterior

A single-carriageway, single-span bridge of rubble stone. A segmental arch, slightly recessed from the abutments, has narrow freestone voussoirs. The simple parapet has a saddleback coping replaced in concrete. A stone tablet on the upstream parapet is engraved 'This bridge built by the expence of T.H. Jones Esq Neuadd Fawr AD 1838'. The parapets are splayed out at the ends, on corbelled stonework to the L (E) bank on the upstream side. On the R (W) bank the abutment curves out on the upstream side, while on the L bank the abutment curves out on the downstream side.
