Water-powered mill and mill house, the mill dated JE 1844. Occupied by W. Eynon 1926.
Mill and mill-house, rubble stone with slate roofs. L-plan with house at right angles to mill. House is double-fronted with stone end stacks and C20 9-pane windows, smaller above. C20 panelled centre door. Slate voussoirs and sills. C20 one bay addition on left end. At right angles to right mill has J.E. 1844 plaque over C20 double doors, in widened opening of which original stone voussoirs survive, and 2-window range of C20 9-pane windows to right. To right, an added slightly lower section has double band of red brick doveholes interrupted by a central square window with C20 9-pane glazing. Dove-holes are arched, and there are slate shelves. Ground floor door with slab lintel. One window to right end wall. Then small one-storey outbuilding with window and door and finally a pigsty with single-pitch roof.
Mill rear wall has 13' 6" iron overshot water wheel. One window with slab lintel over wheel shaft and square window with C20 9-pane glazing under eaves. Two small dove-holes in rear wall of added section.
Included, notwithstanding some modernisation and adaptation, as mill and mill-house group with surviving water-wheel.
