Iron carriageway gates to cemetery chapel built 1853-5 to design of W Rogers of London.
Gates to cemetery drive. Paired gates with cast-iron spearhead finials to rails and to dog-bars, mid-rail with cast-iron rosettes. Thin panelled cast-iron gatepiers with corniced capitals and pyramid caps. Squared cut stone wall to right.
Included as an example of mid C19 ironwork, of group value with the former cemetery chapel.
