Celtic cross war memorial of 1922 erected to the memory of the fallen of 1914-18, the gift of the Lewis family, owners of the tin works at Gorseinon. The cross was said to be the largest in Wales.
War memorial, tall granite monolith Celtic cross with Celtic interlace and ropemould decoration standing on tapered rock-faced granite plinth with inscription. Square granite base and two steps up.
Included for its special interest as a well-designed First World War memorial, a Celtic cross of unusual scale.
