Probably 1877 and contemporary with the church.
The lych gate has dwarf walls of snecked stone supporting open timber-framed sides of 2 arched bays. The bell-cast roof is supported by cambered tie beams (with inscription from Psalms to the W side) with king post and curving struts. The roof projects forward from the tie beams on brackets. The slate roof has cusped bargeboards. In the centre are double wooden gates.
The lych gate is within a semi-circular recess to the W boundary wall of the churchyard. The attached walls define the W and S sides of the chuchyard, and are of rubble stone with saddleback coping.
Listed as a well-detailed lych gate and for the important contribution of lych gate and walls to the setting of the church.
