C18, probably contemporary with Rhuallt Hall. The gates and railings, likely to have been of wrought iron, have been lost, but their pintles and lugs survive.
Two fluted square sandstone gatepiers with moulded plinths and bold cornices, surmounted by stone urns with knobbed and gadrooned caps. The piers stand at the head of a flight of six spreading steps.
A good pair of C18 gatepiers, notwithstanding the loss of associated wrought-ironwork, listed also for group value with Rhuallt Hall.
