Said to have been a shop early in the C20, associated with the woollen production at No. 1 Pant Glas.
Late C19 dwelling house of 2 storeys in coursed slate rubble, with painted cambered brick heads to openings, pitched slated roof. Openings mainly 12-pane timber sashes with slate sills. Symmetrical facade has door to centre, flanked by 12-pane sash to L, and replacement C20 window to R, having 6-pane upper above vertically bisected 2-light. Deeply recessed doorway with stuccoed surrounds has rectangular overlight above Later C20 timber door with glazed upper panel - formerly 4-panel timber door of c.1900, replaced 2000. Upper floor has 2 windows - R is replacement C20 12-pane timber sash, closely resembling original window, L.
Not inspected, but said to have been partly modernised.
Included, despite alterations, as a good example of the typical house of this region associated with the woollen industry boom of the later C19 and Early C20. Group value with No. 1 Pantglas.
