History

Later C19 large farmhouse in late Georgian style.

Exterior

Farmhouse, rubble stone with slate roofs and roughcast brick stacks. L-plan, Two-storey, three-window front range and four-window rear range, both with end stacks. Horned 12-pane sashes throughout, the front range with centre C20 door and overlight, the rear range with door in second bay from left. All with stone voussoirs. Right end wall of front range has 16-pane sash each floor and left end, adjoining rear wing, has 12-pane sash each floor, set to left.

Reasons for Listing

Included for its architectural interest as a well-preserved stone farmhouse still in late Georgian style, though probably of c1865-70.
