Mid C19 lime kiln, one of several on Marros Mountain.
Lime kiln, rubble stone, circular, large scale, some 5 m high. Walling is stepped out at NW, perhaps a rebuilding. Two kiln eyes, open crucible. Kiln-eyes are curved keel-shaped with tall exterior openings with rough-stone triangular heads for which the stones are stepped inward.
Included as one of the best surviving examples of the large quarry lime kilns of the area.
