Earlier to mid C19 large lime kiln associated with the limestone quarry. The kiln stands on a terrace with stone retaining wall some 15m long and 1m high.
Lime kiln, rubble stone, circular, large-scale with front wall some 4m high, kiln-eyes to S and N. S eye is about 2m high and 2m deep. N eye 2m high and about 3m deep. Three rubble stone buttresses against W side. Round crucible, open.
Curved rubble stone retaining wall to N and W, some 15m long and 1m high.
Included as one of the best surviving examples of the numerous quarry lime kilns of Marros mountain
