The front garden wall and gatepiers built as a part of a group of estate workers' cottages in 1891 and having group value with them and with the water-tank shelter in the garden of New Cottage. Rebuilt circa 1960 when road was widened.
Sandstone block wall with dressed coping and wrought iron railings. Two gateways with square piers with conical caps. The wall continues capped by railings and with regular piers to the right, while to the left it is returned as a plain stone wall.
Included for group value as a part of a well designed cottage row built in 1891.
