A mid-C19 limekiln, marked on the 1879 map as active and on the 1896 map as disused.
Kiln in limestone rubble masonry with a single working recess on the west side, at a position raised above the path. This recess is about 2.5m wide, with vertical sides, corbelled at the front. Very flat segmental arch over, the front edge of which has collapsed. The wall above the draw hole is corbelled out above an iron lintel. A small recess in the right side wall is perhaps a candle shelf.,The lining of the interior is not apparent. It is about 3m diameter.
Included for group value with Weobley Castle.
