A double lime-kiln which was probably built in the early C19 (c1813) to burn lime for the construction of Penhein and the barn and other outbuildings and for liming the fields of the new farm.
A double lime-kiln built of random rubble limestone. Very finely built front with twin fire arches with neat segmental heads. Battered corners to the kiln. The pots are still evident above.
Included for its special interest as a very well built and preserved double estate lime-kiln.
