The present Kilvrough Manor was probably built in the 1770s by William Dawkins as a substantial enlargement of an earlier house, and was surrounded by parkland. The sundial was added in the late C19 and is probably contemporary with alterations to the garden that also included an Italian garden.
A shaped reconstituted stone sundial on a square base. The shaft has spiral moulding above moulded lobes. The gnomon is now missing.
