Probably early - mid C19. Unoccupied at the time of inspection.
Small forge. A low single storey building of painted stone rubble rendered to side and pebbledashed to rear, with dressed stone voussoirs to main doorway and brick voussoirs to other openings; Welsh slate roof with central stone stack. To left a basket-arched doorway with double boarded doors; to right a doorway flanked by boarded openings. Tethering ring in front wall. A chanelled stream runs past the gable end at right suggesting use of water-power. Side wall left with ground floor opening has painted sign The Old Forge.
No access to interior.
Included for its special historic interest as a small C19 forge little altered externally.
