Farmhouse dated 1820, built by William Sumner according to date plaque. Marked on 1839 Tithe Map as owned by Stephen Jones, occupied by David Thomas, with 28 acres (11.34 hectares).
House, painted rubble stone with slate roof and rendered end stacks. Two-storey, 3-window range offset to left. Rendered strip at right side, continued from end gable. Three 12-pane horned sashes above, two larger 16-pane horned sashes below and C20 door between. Stone voussoirs and stone sills. Plaque over door 'This House was Built by William Sumner 1820'. Rendered end walls and rendered rear outshut with door and 2 x C20 windows, 4-pane sliding sash in right gable.

Included as a late Georgian smaller farmhouse, dated 1820, and retaining original character and detail.
