Built as a house probably in the early-mid C19.
Built of local slate rubble, with rendered false quoins, and a slate roof. Two storeys, 3 bays. Central through hall plan and rear wing forming a 'T'. Central 4-panelled door, the upper panels glazed and plain rectangular overlight. 12-paned sash windows to the reception rooms either side, with 9-pane sashes to the first floor, all glazing bars slender, without horns. Gable stacks. The S re-entrant angle at the rear in infilled with domestic accommodation.
Included as a well-preserved example of an early C19 dwelling.
