Cottage, probably earlier C19, marked on 1841 Tithe map as Gorof Melyn, owned by Lord Cawdor occupied by Elizabeth Hughes, with 51 acres (20.66 hectares) including the Queens Arms Inn (the present Post Office).
Cottage, colourwashed rubble stone with slate roof and shortened N end stone stack (2 modern roof lights to rear pitch). Single storey with loft, double-fronted with large sash each side of door, timber lintels, sashes with marginal glazing bars, half-glazed door. Lean-to on S end with loft light over. SW corner of house is rounded.
Not accessible on resurvey.
Included as a good example of the smaller cottage of the region, of group value with the village pound.
