The lower storey is now a single room, with 3 stop-chamfered cross beams. The fireplace has a stop-chamfered lintel and added boiler and bread oven. To its R is a turning stone stair which has timber corbelling above it. The original gable-end doorway to the earlier house survives blocked in Ton Farm and has a Tudor head with stop-chamfer surround.
Ton Farm and Ton Farm Cottage are included as a sub-medieval farmhouse retaining early plan form and detail.
