Not being on a turnpike road, this bridge is likely to have been built and repaired as a County Bridge, and is probably late C18-early C19.
A single arch bridge with a span of about 10 m and a width of about 4.5 m between parapets. Ashlar voussoirs with a depth of about 400 mm. At the west of the arch is a blocked relief water hole, about 1.5 m diameter. Rubble masonry in local sandstone. Parapet walls 1 m high with rock-faced copings. The south parapet continues a short distance alongside the road at each end.
A fine vernacular bridge probably of c.1800
