History

A late C17 or early C18 cowhouse and stable.

Exterior

Rubblestone construction with a corrugated asbestos sheeting roof. Small combined cowhouse and stable, of which the top end may be an addition. Two doors under timber lintels to the lower end, small window. Two doorways to higher end. Two triangular vents in bottom gable to possible hayloft. The building stands on an artificial platform with a stone retaining wall, and is fronted by a well preserved yard of pitched stone paving.
