Built probably in the early C19 as a farmhouse.
Built of stone boulders, with a slate roof. Two storeys and attic, 2 bays, double-pile plan with central hall and flanking reception rooms. Symmetrical front facing E, central 6-panelled door with 3-pane overlight, and 12-pane sash windows to the ground floor, 9-pane to the first floor, all set in slightly camber-headed openings. Rear elevation similar but windows altered. Both gables have round-headed windows lighting the attic rooms.
Not accessible at the time of inspection, November 1996.
Included as one of the few remaining well-preserved rural farmhouses of this area.
