Later C18 substantial farmhouse, or gentry house, said to have had a date of 1787 on a ceiling.
Whitewashed rubble stone with slate roof, and roughcast stone end stacks, larger to right. Three-storey, three-window range, much offset, such that two bays are left of centre and one to right. Horned four-pane sashes, half-glazed door and overlight. Stone voussoirs to ground and first floor openings, second floor square windows under eaves. Timber modillion cornice to eaves.
Rear outshut, probably added, each side of projecting centre gable with tall red brick stack. Roughcast N end wall with C20 conservatory/porch. C20 window each floor in outshut end wall.
Listed as a substantial gentry farmhouse of the later C18, rare in the region.
