History

Built probably early C19 perhaps as part of the home farm to Bryn Alyn House.

Exterior

Red brick in English garden wall bond, hipped slate roof, brick chimneys. Rectangular plan with rendered range projecting to rear. Deep eaves cornice, 2 storeys. Symmetrical front elevation, central entrance with trellis porch, 3 upper floor windows and one to each side of entrance are all 16-pane sashes with painted stone cills. Rear wing has dentil cornice and windows are generally casements.

Interior

Not inspected at time of 1995 survey but said to have staircase with closed string and 2 contemporary fireplaces.

Listed as a good example of an early C19 farmhouse.
