History: Coed-y-dinas was a home-farm for the Powis Estate by the mid C19, but has earlier origins. It was subject to a major redevelopment as 'Lord Powis's Model Farm' in the 1870's, but this cartshed appears to form part of the earlier farm, and is probably c1850.
Description: Single storeyed, brick with hipped slate roof. Open front of 6 bays with cast-iron columns carried on padstones.
Included as an integral part of the farm group at Coed-y-dinas, and as an unaltered example of a mid C19 cartshed.
